Family Fun & Summer Camp
There are many opportunities for families to get together and have a good time at the Club. Our Kid’s Fun Zone, with “old school” arcade games, pool table, and plenty of books, movies and board games that families are welcome to borrow is open in conjunction with the swimming pool. We also have canoe rentals, a playground, and a Media Center with a children’s section. Borrow sports equipment and fishing poles at the Pool Check-in or our department. Special “family-time” hours for tennis, golf, pickleball and other activities are also part of the fun at the Club. Families can sign up for additional programs including Friday FAM Club (designed for all family members) and Saturday Kid’s Night Out Dinners (no parents allowed). The Club’s Splash Bash is two hours of free organized pool fun every Saturday. The Beech Mountain Club Playground is located behind the Pavilion on the Recreation Campus. A kid’s fort, swing set and large grassy field are surrounded by fence.
From late June until the end of July, Beech Mountain Club members and their qualified guests can take advantage of a day camp program for children ages 5 – 12. Campers enjoy the use of the Club’s Recreation Campus which includes an 110,000 gallon outdoor heated swimming pool, 1,600-square-foot open air pavilion, playground and bonfire area, Imagination Station Gazebo, Butterfly Garden, pickleball and basketball courts, Family Fun Zone and Mini Arcade. Lake Coffey is just a short walk away for fishing and canoeing fun and once a week campers hit the links on the Club’s golf course. Campers enjoy hiking and field trips on Beech Mountain as well as trips off the mountain to some of the area’s most interesting attractions. Golf and Tennis lessons and clinics for children are also available.
