P. 15
IV. Multiple Membership Property.
The second membership property, and any additional membership properties, of a Multiple Membership Property are assessed dues at a reduced rate. Multiple Membership Properties add no additional membership privileges to those derived by the Regular Founding Membership. The ownership of one or more Multiple Membership Properties does not entitle the owner to additional votes, may not be used as the Regular Founding Membership for another family unit and may not sponsor additional guests (Family, Accompanied, Unaccompanied or Annual) regardless of how many membership properties are owned.
V. Use of Club Facilities by Non-Member Owners.
a. Any individual who holds any ownership interest in any property eligible for Club membership, but who is not a Club member, may not use any Club facilities or services, except during a Special Event. In addition, any such individual may not be a member of any Club Association.
b. An approved Annual Guest is exempt from the prohibitions of this paragraph.
Finance Policy Changes
1. BMC’s policy for the sale of an active membership property has been revised to provide that the Application Fee must be paid at closing, otherwise the sold property is considered to be “inactive” at that point. Therefore, if the buyer of the property was to want membership at a later time, the property would have to be reinstated, meaning the current New Member Initial Fee and annual dues would need to be paid.
2. Any member in good standing who sells their membership property and then subsequently purchases another active membership property within 12 months shall have the Application Fee waived.
3. In the year that an eligible property is reinstated into Club membership, the Dues for that initial year will be reduced by 50% for properties reinstating during the months of August and September. Full Dues shall remain payable for properties reinstating between November and July, and properties reinstating in October shall not have to pay current year Dues.
