Fitness
Members may access the Fitness Center 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with their personal member ID card issued through Member & Guest Services. The Center is staffed for orientations and answering questions between the hours of 8:00am and 12:00pm, Monday through Friday. Call to make an appointment.
Usage Fees
Members have unlimited access to the Fitness Center, however, their guests, including Family Guests, must pay a fee to utilize the facility. Fees are:
$5.00 per day $25.00 per week
In addition to the rates above, unaccompanied guests are required to purchase a guest card. Please note, no unaccompanied guests are permitted in the Fitness Center between 8:00am and 11:00am.
Group Exercise
A variety of water and land based fitness classes are available. Pricing for 2020 is as follows:
Water Aerobics: $12/class, $150/summer season Land Based Classes: $8/class, $220/annual pass (May-April)
Personal Training
The staff of trained professionals, using our state of the art facility and equipment, will provide personal training on a fee-for-service basis. Trainers can work with you one-on-one. Call to make an appointment.
Individual Session: 1 hour-$60, 1/2 hour-$35, or Purchase 10 1 hour sessions for $500 Twosome Session: 1 hour-$40, 1/2 hour $24
The Fitness/Wellness Center is available for use by members of Beech Mountain Club over the age of 14 and their guests. Juniors 14 through 18 years of age are allowed to use the Fitness Center when supervised by BMC staff or an adult.
Everyone must use their own personal ID Card to access the Fitness Center. There is no sharing of ID Cards. Failure of a member (or of their guest) to abide by ID Card policy as supported by video evidence (i.e. allowing others to use your card or allowing others to enter with you) will result in:
• First offense: the member’s account will be charged the appropriate guest fees (those that should have been paid for the additional people/ guests) plus a $10 penalty fee, and will be sent a letter to remind them of the policy and how/when it was violated.
• Second offense: the member will be charged as described above and will have their Fitness access suspended for one week and will be reported to the Membership Committee.
• Third offense: the member will be charged as above and will have Fitness privileges suspended until meeting with the Membership Committee.
