Explore a Diversity of Fun Options

Beech Mountain Club is an active, family-oriented community with members participating in “clubs within the Club” covering various interests and social activities.

Supporting our local arts community is very important at the Club. Members enjoy oil painting, watercolor, stained glass, pottery, crochet, knitting and basket-making classes. The Club also provides opportunities for members to showcase their work at the Clubhouse. For those who enjoy art appreciation, a continuing Lunch and Learn Series on the Masters and many other topics is offered during the summer, as well as trips to local galleries and museums. Novice to expert, there is a perfect way to express your art interests.

If Bridge is your game, you’ll find we have classes to help you learn the basics through opportunities for advanced play. Day or evening, social or serious, men’s/women’s or coed, there is a game for you to join. Groups to learn and play Mah-jongg and Canasta are also available as well as a social bocce league and men’s poker group.

Our members also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and biking on our 28+ miles of trails with the best views in the high country. And with two trout-stocked lakes, fishing is a favorite past time on the mountain.

All these exciting opportunities are open to all Club members, which makes the Club an excellent value for people of all ages! Located in Watauga County, Beech Mountain Club is conveniently located just minutes away from Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and other popular NC mountain towns.
