Summer Opportunities

Seeking dependable individuals to monitor access to the Club’s Pickleball Center. Attendants welcome players, manage registration desk, verify membership status, and sign players in. Good hourly pay plus use of Club facilities. Positions available for 3-5 days per week, mid-May through mid-September.

Looking for a hard-working, motivated, friendly person to run the front desk in the golf pro shop. This person would help display and sell merchandise, communicate with members about upcoming events, sign members up and charge them for tee times, answer phone calls and related questions, help set up, break down and execute events and tournaments. Golf experience is a plus but not a requirement. $10-$14/hour plus use of club facilities. Approx. 30-40 hours per week, May-October.  Contact joshb@beechmtn.club

Looking for a hard-working, motivated, friendly person to assist the Golf Professional in all aspects of outside services to include golf cart staging, range services, member bag storage, tournament set-up and execution, cart cleaning and maintenance and providing excellent customer service.  Must have the ability to lift, push, pull or carry 50lbs. and stand for long periods of time.  Golf experience is a plus but not a requirement. Looking for some responsible people to oversee the smooth operation of the tee-off process at the golf course. Ideal candidates play a critical role in ensuring that golfers have an organized and enjoyable experience before they begin their rounds according to their scheduled tee times. Among other duties the Starter will greet golfers, inform the group of any specific rules of the day, orient new players by describing course layout, provide course and weather updates, record cart fleet number assignments and answer any questions from each group. This position is hiring for opening in May and looking for a commitment through closing in October. Daily schedule to vary by season with starting time between 8 and 11 am and ending time between 2 and 5 pm. Must be available to work weekends, and a requirement of this position will be a three-shift commitment per week. We are seeking three or four starters to cover all shifts on a rotating basis. Members with golf course knowledge are encouraged to apply. Golf level members completing the full season will be reimbursed for the golf portion of their dues upgrade above Sports level if Single Golf and above Single Golf if Full. Looking for some responsible people to assist with pace of play and monitoring access to and use of the golf course. The ideal candidates must have the ability to be assertive while being understanding and respectful of players. Rangers will be empowered to first warn and then to move slow players for the good of the other players on the course. The main objective for each Ranger will be to maintain the approved pace of play. Among other duties the Ranger will monitor access to the golf course by golfers not properly registered, remove others on the golf course who are not permitted, report violations of course and cart rules documenting violations as much as possible, and serve as a communication link from the golf course to the golf shop and golf maintenance staff. This position is hiring for opening in May and looking for a commitment through closing in October. Daily schedule to vary by season with starting time between 9 and noon and ending time between 4 and 7 pm. Must be available to work weekends, and a requirement of this position will be a three-shift commitment per week. We are seeking three or four rangers to cover all shifts on a rotating basis. Must be 21 years of age. Looking for someone with restaurant experience that has bartending knowledge or is willing to learn. Some alcohol awareness would be a plus for training. Hosts/hostess are needed for dinner service only. Hosts are responsible for greeting members, seating members with the proper menu and making sure the server has knowledge of member arrival. Communication is key in this position. In addition to greeting and seating members, hosts will act as a server assistant, clearing and resetting tables. Starting at $15 per hour. Stretch, tone, and balance focuses on guiding members through exercises that improve flexibility, muscle tone, and overall balance. Classes run Monday, Wednesday & Friday from May 29th –Mid October. Pay dependent on experience. Contact nancyf@beechmtn.club.

Year Round

Ongoing need for local babysitters for members of the club. Must be 16 years of age or older and have references. Key Requirements: Experience in full service restaurant is desired with solid references. Must have a flexible schedule. Task-driven individual. Responsibilities: Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance with standards set by the Chef. Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line. Food preparation and portioning prior to service.  Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time. Great opportunity for growth.
